In the mean time whilst 2 of the party was tucking you to their food trying to enjoy the atmosphere, if you recall I said above not to judge a book by its cover well to my shock and horror the staff stood at the bar where rudely flipping Eiffel and slateing customers in ear shot of the tables with no Concideration of manors or good hospitality to be seen. Confused we questioned where the bun and vegan cheese was to which we got even more attitude and the plate being taken back to the kitchen to be corrected with very little of an apology of the mistake but again we could have let this slide. Food arrived 2 classics 3 fries and a burger patty with dressing on a side plate. ![]() When we did get our drinks 40 into being at the restaurant it was far from what we ordered but by this point we just wantted to eat and go. To then receive attitude and a eye roll upon walking away. So asked if we could order a rum and coke with lime and pay the difference if they was put through as a separate items as they had all these things behind the bar. 10 minutes after placing the order we where informed that the Cubans wasn’t on the till and the southern comfort they don’t serve. We all ordered the classic burger with fries one burger having the bun and cheese replaced with the vegan option to ensure it’s dairy free along side our drinks, top dog(cocktail) Cubans and a southern comfort with coke. 20 mins into our arrival we finally get our order taken (now missing the cocktail hour as the service was shockingly slow despite our arrival before 6pm when cocktail hour ended. So upon sitting down at our table we where handed the menus, we had already informed the astablishment that we have a dairy free party with us. Get to restraint for our prebooked table which was booked for 5:45 on 2nd of sept to been shown to our table so far couldn’t fault the restaurant looked welcoming environment not to busy but most tables filled however they say you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. Dinner at a recommended Restaurant and then of to a show what could go wrong. Well what can I say out with the girl what should have been a fantastic night. I don’t normally leave bad reviews as I appreciate businesses have bad days, but this was a let down especially as I visit kingly court often. All in all I would give the food 3/10, service 4/10 and atmosphere 3/10. She went to go check if another colleague would do it, then came back and said, this isn’t my section but don’t worry I will sort it out. We had to ask the server who sat us down if we could order. The service is okay, but it took a while to get served. ![]() I mean the music was upbeat, and if you’re having a few drinks, it would be lovely. You’re realistically paying for the atmosphere, and even that is lacking inside the place. I appreciate times are tough, but paying £62 for 3 burgers, 2 lots of skinny fries and 1 truffle fries just doesn’t make sense. Genuinely very disappointed, especially as they’re in kingly court. My cousin ordered the chicken burger, his response was is that it? As the chilli sauce genuinely tasted like your average kebab shop chilli sauce, but watered down. The truffle cheese sauce wasn’t to bad, but lacked about as much excitement as the people working there. The bun tasted cheap and after eating all of our group felt rough. It had little to no taste and tasted burnt. ![]() We enjoyed our evening as we’re a good natured bunch but I don’t think we will return.Ordered the vegan burgers. They, a couple of nice cocktails and the great ambiance can’t hide the rather dull, poorly presented menu. Just generally a lack of attention to detail. We were supplied with plenty of water but it was warm, no ice nor lemon. ![]() The wings were lack lustre, the meat dry and the steak, although cooked perfectly, was a bit gristly. The burgers were so precariously stacked that two of us had them fall on them and the table while they were being served. Which obviously meant that some of the meals were more than a little dry. After we had ordered it was announced that there was no BBQ sauce available. Several items were unavailable so it was even more limited than usual. The menu is limited so my expectations were quite high. I was looking forward to the meal as it was a birthday celebration with some of us seeing each other for the first time in over a year. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is cosy and welcoming. Accommodating, friendly, patient and obliging. From the initial booking for a large party to the service they were fantastic.
